Sponsorship Opportunities

Startup Weekend is a national program that has selected Memphis as its latest city for the 54 hour event in which a business is started from scratch by local community members. The event will be hosted by EmergeMemphis and the Mercury Launchpad. This event will bring national focus to Memphis, TN, the startup created, and the sponsors.The goal is to have sponsor contributions reach to approximately $5000 dollars which will be used to pay for organizational costs to facilitate the event, transportation for a Startup Weekend, LLC approved facilitator, and any incidental costs incurred during the weekend event.

Scholarship Sponsor - No less than $40 and variable

Scholarship monies will offset the individual costs incurred by participants, in the form of a $40 “buy-in” fee. Monies earmarked for use as scholarships will be distributed based on need and available resources.

Meal and In-Kind Sponsorship - Valued according to closest value of above sponsorship
- Featured in all media and materials surrounding Startup Weekend
In-kind contributions of food, equipment, and materials will be valued as a dollar contribution, with those sponsors designated to the closest sponsor level.
